Courmayeur Design Week-end 2023

On Saturday 11 February, at the close of the third edition of Courmayeur Design Week-end, Antonio Gioli, together with 967arch, Atelier Alfonso Femia, Fabric Integrated Architecture, Giolatis_studio, Giuseppe Tortato architetti, Parisotto Formenton and Progetto Cmr took part in the #CDWETalk ‘Architects in comparison’ meeting introduced by Cristiana Cutrona and moderated by Giorgio Tartaro. The meeting was opened by an excerpt from “walkTOwork – Towards the future of the office”, a tribute to the world of cinema as a tool to investigate the evolutionary scenarios of work and the office environment, conceived by Revalue Studio and GBPA Architects.

An evocative tracking shot, between the serious and the facetious, to help reflect on the cultural change that has led us to Smart Working, Inclusive Leadership Styles, Hybrid Work, Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Ecosystem, Smart Office and Phygital Spaces, the office as a place of relationships, the psychophysical wellbeing of individuals together with the healthiness and quality of environments as project drivers. With an ironic and irreverent slant, the question that we all ask ourselves and that the Great Resignation phenomenon brings to the fore emerged: towards which future are we going? Can we redesign a Happy Sense of Living also through the design of work spaces, schools and the city?
