Federica De Leva, “Italian Design Day 2020” Ambassadress, will intervene virtually on November 5 at 5 pm to reiterate the importance of design as an identity brand of “made in Italy”.
The theme of the Italian Design Day 2020 is “Designing the future. Development, innovation, sustainability and beauty”.

The Italian Design Day is the annual thematic review launched in 2017 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Farnesina in collaboration with and with the support of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism.

De Leva will talk about his professional experience, the theme of the rfurbishment and regeneration of existing real estate, often obsolete, along with increasingly widespread policies to reduce land consumption, which represent the current direction of the development of the building sector. Emblematic is the case of the new headquarters of Amazon in Milan, designed by GBPA Architects in Milan (study of which De Leva is one of the founders), with the utmost attention to well-being and environmental and social sustainability: this iconic building of the 70s stands out today, even in the time of the pandemic, for maximum efficiency and its strong identity.
