The Terna Group is the first grid operator for electricity transmission in Europe. After winning a design competition, GBPA ARCHITECTS was commisioned to refurbish the company's office buildings situated in Brugherio, Milan. The main purpose of the project is to improve the overall office lay-out for better flexibility and mobility within the space, providing a more contemporary aesthetic and all today's expected comforts. The project includes a main transformation of the building exterior envelope, enhancing the main entrance through a large ramp and a panoramic glazed lift both covered by a sun shading light metal structure.
